• температура по мокрому (смоченному) термометру- температура, отличаемая психрометром, когда термобаллон одного из термометров покрыт водопоглощающей тканью, вокруг которой воздух перемещается со скоростью примерно 900 фут/мин (4,5 м/с) для того, чтобы достигнуть равновесной температуры воды, испаряющейся в воздух, когда теплота испарения компенсируется ощутимой теплотой воздуха - см. psychrometer, thermometer, dew-point depression.
